DEFINITIONS


 

THE FUND

The Scholarship Fund for Dutch immigrants and their offspring in the names of  Leo and Riek Cohen.

THE DUTCH CONNECTION:

A person in the first line of kinship (father, mother, grandfather or grandmother).

DUTCH IMMIGRANT:

1. A native from Holland who immigrated to Israel from Holland.

2. A native from another country who immigrated to Israel from Holland and at the time of such immigration was a Dutch citizen.

3. A native from another country who lived in Holland for at least ten years before his immigration to Israel, directly from Holland and who, at the time of submitting the scholarship application, was still alive.

 

OFFSPRING:

Children or grandchildren of the Dutch connection.

STUDIES:

From graduate high school studies to academic degree studies or vocational studies in an institution recognized by the Council for Higher Education or by the Ministry of Education.

 

INCOME:

Bachelor's income - Personal income of the applicant himself and his parents' income.

Married person's income – Applicant's income and income of spouse.

 

PASSWORD:

The password is a personal code consisting of 6 alphanumeric characters as chosen by the applicant.
In conjunction with the Israeli I.D. (Te'udat Zehut) number and the password one can access the application form until its completion and dispatch.

By means of the Israeli I.D. and the password the student is able to monitor the situation of his application and to check whether he has received messages from The Fund.
